Please review this paragraph about the current status of the Graphic Routing System.  Dr. Jim McCluskey is a Professor of Geography and Geology for the University of Wisconsin Colleges.   Ironically, he also lives in Tomahawk.   We have formed a partnership to add new GIS functionality to the School Bus Management System.

The Graphic Routing is a new and exciting system!!!    There are a number of graphic packages ranging from under $100 to over $30,000.    He has selected one that does routing, interfaces with SBMS data bases and has a lot of room for growth and flexibility.   We’ll have some screens available to look at soon.  Even if you’re not interested in graphic routing or map routing, please take a look at the screens when they are available.   The main reason I’m asking you to do this is, we’re finding that numerous school districts want their bus contractors to provide maps.  

We have even heard of a software company approaching school districts, trying to convince them, to force their bus contractors to buy their software, to be compatible with the school district.  

We want to help you know what is available so you can make a knowledgeable choice for your own needs.
