System Requirements

The School Bus Management System's BUS2 Version is very flexible. It will run on a 486, but that's not recommended and you won't like it from a speed viewpoint! The Graphic Routing System requires a fairly hefty system. To find out about GRS system requirements please call. /p>

We are sticking with the following minimums and recommendations:

The Minimum System Requirements

• Processor ---- Pentium2 or greater
• Memory ------- 128 Mb RAM
• Hard Drive --- 20 GB (with at least 5 GB free)
• Monitor ------ VGA
• Modem -------- 28.8 Kb
• Operating Sys Windows 98SE and above (* see below)
• Misc. -------- Keyboard, Mouse, CD
• Printer

The Recommended System

• Processor ---- Pentium 4
• Memory ------- 256 Mb RAM
• Hard Drive --- 80 Gb (with at least 10 GB free)
• Monitor ------ SVGA
• Modem -------- DSL/Cable
• Operating Sys Windows XP (* see below)
• Misc. -------- Keyboard, Mouse, 3.5" Diskette
• Parallel Port Printer Port

The Operating System

The SBMS BUS2 could be run in a DOS window, in Windows 95 as well as in Windows 98, but we would have a great deal of trouble supporting it in those systems.

The SBMS BUS can still be used, under some older operating systems, but we can no longer support it. We can answer questions but we can make NO changes to the program system.
